The travel journey from Hanoi to Nam Dinh through Hong Quang doll dancing water village, Co Le pagoda and traditional streets on a cyclo is a unique experience of Vietnamese culture and history. From enjoying traditional arts to exploring monuments and signature cuisine, this itinerary offers diverse and meaningful experiences.

DAY 01: HANOI – HONG QUANG WATER PUPPET VILLAGE – CO LE PAGODA – CYCLO TOUR - NAM DINH CITY (L/D)
10:00-10:30 Upon arrival at Nam Dinh, we firstly visit Rach village in Hong Quang commune. This is the place where water puppetry was established in the 10th century and has a traditional craft of making statues and puppets for water puppet shows. You have a chance to visit the water pavilion, village public well, ancient houses with traditional architecture, visit puppet village artists’ house. Let's learn how to control puppets and research how to develop the art of water puppetry that our ancestors have preserved for many generations.
Next, we visit Co Le Pagoda – one of the special Pagoda in Vietnam with complex of architecture compose of Buddhism and Christianism
Then we transfer to local restaurant for lunch.
15:00: Be ready at Lưu Gia Trang Ecological Restaurant at 45 Trần Nhân Tông street and get on a cyclo tour. The cyclo tour will take you passing outside some iconic destinations of Nam Dinh City like Nam Dinh Flag Pole which is one of four localities in the country that the Nguyen court built a citadel and flagpole (along with the flagpole in Hue in 1807, the flagpole in Hanoi in 1812, and the flagpole in Bac Ninh in 1838).
Next to the Flag Pole is Nam Dinh Museum where display antiquities and unique cultural and artistic values of Thanh Nam land.
Continuing riding, the cyclo tour takes you into some streets in Nam Dinh old quarter area.
Our last stop is Tran Hung Dao Monument, the great general under Trần Dynasty, one of the heroes, famous generals of Vietnam with two time victories Mongolian army invasion. We can have a group photo to check in here before coming back to our first starting point – Lưu Gia Trang Ecological Restaurant.
17:30 Take a rest in the Lưu Gia Trang Ecological Restaurant before transferring back to your hotel.
Having dinner at local restaurant tonight.
DAY 02: LOCAL MARKET VISIT – DEPARTURE (B/-)
08:00 after breakfast, we will walk from hotel to visit local market to experience local lifestyle of Nam Dinh people.
Bid farewell to Nam Dinh Province, we transfer to next destination.
