CU CHI TUNNELS
After breakfast, our guide and car will pick you up to explore Ho Chi Minh City:
Visit the Reunification Palace, former residence of the President of South Vietnam.
Walk to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, iconic French colonial architecture.
Continue to the War Remnants Museum, with extensive exhibitions of the Indochina wars and outdoor military vehicles.
In the afternoon, depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels (1.5 hours by car), an incredible underground network where locals lived during wartime.
See secret entrances, various traps (booby, rolling, clipping armpit, conical, seesaw, folding chair), and a B-52 bomb crater.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Institute of Oceanography, showcasing Vietnam’s marine biodiversity with marine specimens, rare creatures, fossils, and an ocean survey ship.
Long Son Pagoda, an ancient temple with a giant white Buddha statue – the largest in Vietnam.
